Her illustrations bring expressive character to everything from stationery to drinks cans — capturing moments of energy and calm inspired by the natural world.

So here is the tougher side of illustrating… promoting, marketing and generally letting the world see your work 😃 🎨🖌️

Currently standing in a large London office foyer handing out business cards and selling to tough tired Londoners with headphones on! I am meeting some lovely friendly folk and others who are harder to get to smile 🧊☀️ ( Note to self- be a smiley person!)

A huge thank you to PGBuzz for the generous feature about my recent collaboration with the @guildhallartlondon, and how my bespoke illustration work with historic houses and galleries is beginning to grow.

The piece captures my hope to create more bespoke ranges for historic houses, galleries and gardens, places where creativity and heritage meet, and where I try to capture a moment of calm, beauty and connection.

Introducing 2 characters I illustrated for children’s author in 2023 . I loved them! They symbolise friendship- a new friendship in this case but it turned into an important supportive friendship despite both characters coming at life from different angles.

Using nature to make beautiful art for 50 years Andy Goldsworthy is an inspirational genius 🌳🪾💦💨.

Throughout my adult life I have bumped into his beautiful creations, skilfully constructed with such thoughtful starting points.

Here are some of my favourites from his exhibition
Andy Goldsworthy:Fifty Years at National Gallery, Edinburgh.

Only natural materials used including elm leaves, ash twigs, snow, sheep wool, ferns and thorns as nails, iron pigment in the soil and trees blown down in storms.

His fence of barbed wire symbolises obstacles encountered and the hope of finding a way through. The flags of 50 of the US states were dyed with the redest earth he could find in each state and flown together and for 16 years he worked with a fallen elm tree exploring its form and using it as a canvas to create with the colours and shapes of nature found around it. Just brilliant 🙂

Spent a very happy day @brandlicensingeurope last week with my friends @brilliantly.brave and @ilike.birds who were exhibiting there. Big brands do serious work at this show. I was invited to go to see how another arm of illustration works and to have some fun absorbing the characters, colour and creative chaos of this incredible show. Such a lot to absorb and think about ….and I learnt how to play pickle ball !! 🥒💚
